Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang held the annual meeting of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) with foreign press agencies, the Nyanjiang newspaper reported on December 16.
Correspondents, assistants of foreign press services operating in Vietnam, ambassadors, heads of missions and employees of foreign missions in Vietnam responsible for press matters took part in the event.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Minister Le Thi Thu Hang said that by overcoming challenges, Vietnam has achieved good results in all aspects, including social and economic development.
She said that through persistent efforts, the diplomatic sector has made a great contribution to the overall achievements of Vietnam in the field of foreign policy.
Vice Minister Le Thi Thu Hang expressed her gratitude to the international press agencies for spreading rich information about Vietnam, the Vietnamese people, their potential and the cultural identity of the country to the world, and expressed her desire that international press agencies continue to convey information about the situation in Vietnam in all directions.
